I had a mini-session with sweet Sadie the week of Halloween.  Wasn’t she precious in her costume?

Ella | Birmingham Newborn Photographer

Little Ella was born a couple weeks ago and I had the privilege of spending her eighth morning with her.  Isn’t this a beautiful family and a squeezable newborn?

Ella’s grandmother was in town to lend a hand.  It is always encouraging to see new moms with great support.

Her nursery is just enchanting.  Here are some shots that give you an idea of how lovely it is (and how loved this little girl is too!)

I love being an on-location photographer.  I get to make babies sleep in new spots in homes all over the city.  Isn’t this a great mirror?

Ella is just starting to check out her world, I loved this shot of her studying her mom’s face.

She may have tiny toes, but I think she’s got a big future in store.

2009 Card Designs

with one comment

I offer 5×7 cards in linen or semi-gloss cardstock with envelopes for the bargain price of $30 per set of 25.  To insure timely delivery, order by November 15th or within 7 days of your gallery going up for late autumn customers.

You can see all of the designs at this link.  But these few will give you a feel for some of the possibilities.

Several of the designs will support either one large photo or four smaller ones (Avett, Bird, Hewson and Tweedy.)  Sometimes the design needs to be dictated by the crop of the photo but colors and messages can be tweaked.  Just let me know what you’d like via email!

Baby Hale is one of my Grow with Me clients, and we combined a mid-year session with some family shots on a crisp fall day at home and around the neighborhood.

I hope y’all enjoy this sneak peak!

Paisley | Birmingham Newborn Photography

It’s been a couple months since I’ve photographed a newborn, and I was excited for the chance to get back into the game.  Poor Paisley had an upset stomach and her first fussy day while I was there, but we still managed to get some great shots.

Isn’t that nursery gorgeous?

I love looking through my newborn sessions and seeing the different personalities and feels from different families who I am privileged to visit in that first week or two of life.  Congratulations, Brad and Lindsay on your beautiful baby girl!

Marshall and Tabbie’s wedding Saturday was a beautiful example of a church, family and friends coming together in support of a young couple.  I felt blessed to be a part of it and lucky to have such joyous, radiant brides.

Congratulations Marshall and Tabbie!

Lindsay and Andrew don’t think they photograph well, but I disagree!  I am really looking forward to their wedding next month.

It was a joy and an honor to document Landon and Amber’s wedding on Saturday.  I have so enjoyed getting to know them, and Amber’s mom Brenda, over the last few months.  Here is the first preview, some detail shots will follow soon!

(photo by Kelly of Spindle Photography, who did a great job helping out with this wedding and I am looking forward to working with her more often and sharing some pictures from her big day here, too!)

Overall, the day was enhanced by a great team of vendors and venues, it was truly a beautiful day full of laughter and fun!
