Baby H | Birmingham Newborn Photography
This is Baby H.

He was born almost two weeks ago now, exactly a week before our photo session.

…that was three weeks before his due date. His sweet grandmother had just landed in London when she heard her daughter had gone into labor, so she bought this Harrod’s bag in the airport and hopped the first plane back home to meet her grandson.

That’s what grandparents do. Wasn’t that calendar idea fun and creative? His mom is going to use it to take pictures on it each month for the first year to track his growth. She also bought him this hat on etsy.com.

What is cuter than a baby in a crocheted bear hat? A baby in his dad’s fishing net?

Certainly, sweet baby feet are in the running.

Baby H has two smart, devoted parents. I had to post this shot because I love the way his mom is looking at him, and you can also see the painting hanging over the crib in the background, which just looked awesome. Honestly, the whole nursery is fantastic.

It was clear to me that Baby H will be raised in a home with art, beauty, books, sports, fun and laughter, the way it ought to be.

I had such a great time getting to know the B family and am excited that H is a “grow with me” baby that I’ll get to photograph throughout the year. This shoot had so many fun and interesting sequences, I am sure you will see others here on the blog or on the website when I update next. I love when families run with my basic style and make the sessions their own!

The newborn pictures are absolutely gorgeous. You do wonderful work.

I absolutely love the shot in the fish net. What a wonderful idea. The one with baby in the basket on the mantel is beautiful too. You have got a great eye and do lovely portraits.
