I offer 5×7 cards in linen or semi-gloss cardstock with envelopes for the bargain price of $30 per set of 25.  To insure timely delivery, order by November 15th or within 7 days of your gallery going up for late autumn customers.

You can see all of the designs at this link.  But these few will give you a feel for some of the possibilities.

Several of the designs will support either one large photo or four smaller ones (Avett, Bird, Hewson and Tweedy.)  Sometimes the design needs to be dictated by the crop of the photo but colors and messages can be tweaked.  Just let me know what you’d like via email!

Let’s beat the heat together by having a little fun… I am going to do three contests in the next five weeks, each announced here and on my facebook fan page.   Each contest will have different ways of entering to spice things up, but the prize will be the same each time:

One 30-minute mini-session and One mounted 8×10 print.  You decide what you want me to photograph:  some cute couple pictures you’ve always wanted in everyday clothes, your child, pictures with your new pet or just a classic family session for your Christmas card.  You must live or be willing to travel to Birmingham, AL or Raleigh, NC.  These sessions are not transferable (don’t worry, I’m going to do a big giveaway towards Christmas where you can nominate someone else who deserves one.)  We’ll work out a location, and the session must be completed in 2009.

This is long overdue, but I finally have an engagement session gallery on the website.  You can see it here.

I have one more portrait session available in March, and am currently booking Spring and Summer sessions as well as weddings in 2009 and 2010.  If you are considering a portrait session, feel free to reserve a spot in a month without needed to know exactly which day right now.  Likewise, newborn sessions are booked by due date, but I understand that babies come at their own time, so don’t worry about that, we can work it out.

You may have noticed that things are looking different at kstewartphotography.com.  The wedding website is up, and I am already booking for spring, summer and autumn in Birmingham and beyond.  Soon I’ll add some engagement photos, and more from recent weddings, the lifestyle/portraiture side has a lot ready to be updated as well.  So keep checking in for more never-before-seen pictures!

As you’ve probably noticed, I have been dabbling in wedding photography for some time and will soon take the plunge with a parallel wedding website.  My wedding work will share this blog with “lifestyle” photography: the newborns, children, family and high school senior photography I still love.  At first I wasn’t sure I wanted to mix everything up, but I have seen how shooting weddings has benefitted my family photography (and vice versa.)  I am excited about being able to photograph more of your moments, the everyday AND the special days.   There will be plenty of opportunities for lifestyle shoots, but as always it is beneficial to get on the calendar early as I have filled up in the past (even without wedding photography in the mix.)  Thanks for inviting me to share in your lives, I’ve enjoyed it so much!
