2008 is CLOSED.

A few friends have squeezed in as latecomers, but I’m drawing a line in the sand, no new inquiries, I just won’t have time to process and finish any more pictures before Christmas.  Plus, I’d love a little extra time to work on some new and exciting projects, sew a little for my girls, and spend as much time with them as possible.  The good news is: I’m now booking 2009, and not planning on going anywhere.

Thanks for a wildly successful year, Birmingham!  With plentiful newborns, babies, toddlers, kids of all ages, families, weddings and commercial work, I have been blessed to serve as your photographer this year.  Almost every client I have has come from a personal referral, and I am proud that you feel comfortable recommending me to your friends and family, and I hope you feel appreciated through the referral program and my heartfelt thank yous, I have meant every one of them.  If you are already booked for 2008, I look forward to finishing off the year with you and yours.

Meet Maya

We moved this summer and still haven’t meet some of the people farther down our block.  While arranging for a deposit, Maya’s mother and I realized that we are neighbors!  (I can see their house from my porch.)  New slogan: Kristen Stewart Photography, bringing people together!

Maya is a super sweet girl, in that stage right before sitting that’s notoriously hard to photograph.  Maya’s cute enough to overcome that, though!

I Can’t Help Myself

I want to share a few more from my mini-session with Victoria.  So many great shots in just 25 minutes time!  What a photogenic child.

When Should I Schedule My Photoshoot?

As soon as you can!  Right now the three mini-session days are the last availabilities of the year, we are otherwise booking January 2009 and beyond.  When you decide “I want photos from Kristen in this season or to commemorate that” go ahead and talk to me about it and get your deposit in.  That deposit is transferrable if you need to move your date around a few times in the month before your shoot.  If you are pregnant and know you would like maternity and/or newborn photos, let me know early and I will pencil you in on the calendar for that month.  I have a certain number of shoots I can take per month, and the time slots are flexible, so it is to your advantage to go ahead and get your spot!  As far as this year is concerned, there are a few spots left for each mini-session day, so if you need photos in 2008 and you are willing to be flexible about your location we might still be able to make it happen!

Updates

The website has finally been updated with some new faces, some you haven’t even seen previewed here, and I hope to be better about keeping it current.  I also need to add a new category for tween and teen photos but that will have to wait for another day.

There are still slots available for the holiday mini-sessions, but I’ve been receiving deposits steadily so don’t delay!
