Remember sweet Tripp from his baptism mini-session?  He’s growing and all-boy!  We started the session with a few minutes at home and then hit a nearby park. I loved watching him explore the world and capturing his little personality.

We also got some family shots.

Ella | Birmingham Newborn Photographer

Little Ella was born a couple weeks ago and I had the privilege of spending her eighth morning with her.  Isn’t this a beautiful family and a squeezable newborn?

Ella’s grandmother was in town to lend a hand.  It is always encouraging to see new moms with great support.

Her nursery is just enchanting.  Here are some shots that give you an idea of how lovely it is (and how loved this little girl is too!)

I love being an on-location photographer.  I get to make babies sleep in new spots in homes all over the city.  Isn’t this a great mirror?

Ella is just starting to check out her world, I loved this shot of her studying her mom’s face.

She may have tiny toes, but I think she’s got a big future in store.

Sweet Sisters | Birmingham Family Photographer

You might recognize these beauties from some of their previous sessions, they are always a joy to photograph!

I photographed Caroline early this spring for her second birthday, but I couldn’t resist getting another shot of her, too.

What a lovely family in every way.  I hope they enjoy this preview!

Sisters & Friends | Birmingham Child Photographer

Our two little girls are 17 months apart, and love to proclaim that they are sisters and friends.  Raising them together has given me a special soft spot for little girls close in age, so I was excited to meet new clients with daughters even closer together!  Sara’s first birthday was the official reason for the session, but Hallie tagged along for all of the fun.

Obviously, they are really adorable children, and I had fun getting to know them!

I met up with Sydney and her family at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for a one year photo shoot.

Even though her dad was really sick, we got a few family shots.

She is so close to walking!

I met up with Caroline and her sisters at the park for a 30 minute mini-session to commemorate her second birthday.

She’s two years old and has been home with her forever family for just about six months.  I was amazed by how well she is talking!

She’s got a bright future ahead.  Maybe she’ll be a florist…

Four Girls | CMS | Birmingham Family Photographer

I have had the honor of photographing three of these four beautiful girls in the last five months.  They were all four and under when the newest baby was born, but their mother is nothing like the mental image you probably have at the moment, she effuses grace and joy.   I am glad to get to spend time with her!
